Please join our community’s Stand Up for Abused Children Campaign and make a lifelong difference for a child.”
On Thursday, October 16th, we asked our community to Stand Up for Abused Children! Join us at the John F. Kennedy Memorial in Dallas, Texas, where, early that morning, Dallas CASA unveiled a dramatic display of hundreds of life-sized cutouts of children.
On an average day in Dallas County, nearly 2,000 abused or neglected children are in the foster care system because they cannot live safely at home. While many people and organizations work on behalf of these children, many more are needed. |
