Dallas CASA Classic

The Archon Group and Pioneer Natural Resources together will host the Dallas CASA Classic on Feb. 20. This year marks the first time the two companies will come together to invite their vendors and business partners to help support Dallas CASA.

In 2011, the 14th Annual Archon Presidents' Day Golf Classic contributed $600,000 to Dallas CASA, bringing the company's total CASA contributions to more than $7.2 million in just 14 calendar years. In 2012, Pioneer Natural Resources joins the Archon Group in expanding the tournament to include even more participants and supporters all working together to provide more advocates for abused and neglected children in Dallas County.

Archon Group is a Las Colinas-based investment management company and a wholly-owned subsidiary of Goldman Sachs. Archon chose Dallas CASA as its corporate charity through a company-wide election in 1997. More than 650 Archon employees throughout the nation nominated their choices, and Dallas CASA emerged as the winner.

Pioneer Natural Resources is a large independent exploration and production company focused on delivering competitive and sustainable results. The tournament is planned and organized entirely by Archon and Pioneer employees. Since the inception of the tournament, Dallas CASA's capacity to advocate for abused and neglected children has grown from serving 542 children in 1994 to more than 1,300 in 2011.
