Cherish the Children
The annual Cherish the Children luncheon, benefiting Dallas CASA, is hosted by the Dallas CASA Children's Council. Audiences enjoy the opportunity to indulge their "inner child" through the purchase of fanciful and fun children's chairs custom-designed and donated by local artists, designers and merchants. The Cherish the Children luncheon raises awareness about the plight of abused and neglected children in Dallas County and raises funds to support the work of Dallas CASA volunteers. In 2011, the event raised more than $75,000 to help the children served by Dallas CASA. The 2012 luncheon will feature actress Victoria Rowell as the keynote speaker and will be led by event chair Diana Hamilton.
