Cherish the Children

Honorees – Laura Losinger and Sarah Losinger

Luncheon Co-Chairs – Barbara Cervin and Margaret Cervin

The Dallas CASA Children’s Council hosted the 2026 Cherish the Children benefit luncheon, co-chaired by mother daughter duo Barbara Cervin and Margaret Cervin, on April 17, at the Arts District Mansion. Dallas CASA honored Laura Losinger and Sarah Losinger with the Caroline Rose Hunt Cherish the Children Award for their work on behalf of vulnerable children. Through a lifetime of volunteerism and philanthropy, Sarah Losinger has created a tradition for her family, including her daughter-in-law, Laura. Sarah is a long-time supporter of Dallas CASA, a board member of numerous nonprofits and her family’s foundation, a tireless community volunteer and a generous philanthropist. Laura is a long-time member of Dallas CASA’s board, a volunteer child advocate who has served on three cases involving four children and today serves as Senior Director of Clinical Programs at Children’s Health. Together, they have created a family tradition of care for and attention to the community’s most vulnerable children.

The luncheon’s guest speaker, Aliscia Brorman is an international bestselling author and founder of the Full Circle Movement. A former foster youth turned systems level changemaker, Aliscia transforms lived experience into powerful leadership insights that resonate across corporate, civic and community spaces. Known for her raw, strategic and deeply human storytelling, Aliscia guides audiences to understand trauma, build resilience and lead with compassion and purpose. As an advocate and movement builder, Aliscia is committed to transforming the child welfare system from the inside out and helping communities bring change “full circle.”

The Caroline Rose Hunt Cherish the Children Award recognizes an individual or organization for outstanding contributions to helping children who have been removed from their homes due to abuse or neglect. The award was inspired by its namesake, Mrs. Hunt, because of her constant dedication to the most vulnerable in our city and helping people who could not help themselves. Click here to view a tribute to Mrs. Hunt.
