Every time you hear an awful story in the news about someone being hurt, most people say, 'That’s terrible! Someone should do something.' Not everyone takes the opportunity to actually help. I wanted to be in the group of people who did something, who didn’t pass by the opportunity to help. That’s why I became a CASA volunteer."

Dallas CASA Classic

On April 30th, 2018, Pioneer Natural Resources, Goldman Sachs and AT&T hosted the 21st annual Dallas CASA Classic at the Four Seasons Resort and Club in Las Colinas and Brookhaven Country Club in Farmers Branch. This year the tournament contributed $1.74 million, the most ever raised in sponsorships, for the abused and neglected children Dallas CASA serves.

In 2012, Pioneer Natural Resources joined
Goldman Sachs, followThis is an image of the CASA Classic logoed by AT&T in 2013, to expand the tournament and its critical support of abused children. The tournament features a full day of golf with morning and afternoon sessions on both the Four Seasons and Brookhaven golf courses to accommodate the many  participants and supporters working together to provide more CASA volunteers to serve abused and neglected children in Dallas County.

Pioneer, Goldman Sachs and AT&T invite their business partners and friends to participate in the tournament and in 2018 raised $1.7 million in sponsorships and a matching gift from Pioneer Natural Resources to support Dallas CASA. Since the inception of the tournament, Dallas CASA’s capacity to advocate for abused and neglected children has grown from serving 407 children in 1998 to 3,118 in 2017.
