Angel Tree Holiday Giving
Thank you for helping to make a child’s holiday gift wishes come true.
Most children dream of finding special gifts under the tree on Christmas morning. But for children in protective care, life is so uncertain and full of change they can’t be sure that the holidays are coming. But each child with a Dallas CASA volunteer can be certain that their holiday dreams will come true because of the Angel Tree Holiday Giving program.
We invite you to join our 2023 Angel Tree Holiday Giving program by purchasing gifts or donating gift cards to help fulfill children’s holiday gift wishes. In 2022, contributors provided gifts for more than 1,400 angel tree requests, and we anticipate needing a similar number for the 2023 holidays. Participants may also choose to donate gift cards or cash online. Dallas CASA supervisors and volunteer advocates will use the donations to purchase gifts for the children – or provide gift cards to the youth or their caregivers who will purchase gifts for the youth.
Thank you for helping to make the holidays a little happier for a child in foster care.
To participate, consider donating $25 or $50 gift cards from Walmart (most requested), Target, or Amazon for the children.
Donors may:
• Request Angel Tree cards before October 16 to purchase gifts for specific children. Gifts are to be delivered to Dallas CASA on December 4, 5 or 6.
• Collect and deliver gift cards which will be used to purchase gifts for children and teens or allow them to shop for themselves. We allocate a $50 minimum per child or teen for holiday gifts. Gift cards can be delivered to Dallas CASA between November 27 and December 8, during regular office hours.
• Make an online donation of any amount designated for “Angel Tree Holiday Program” through December 8. Donations made by check can be mailed or delivered to Dallas CASA, 2757 Swiss Ave, Dallas, TX 75204.
