Story Ideas
Volunteer and Youth Success Story – While protecting the privacy of youth, we can share inspiring success stories of how our volunteers help make a difference in the lives of abused children. Our volunteers are available for interviews and photographs.
Volunteer Profile – Our volunteers come from an incredible array of backgrounds and volunteer with Dallas CASA for many different reasons. Let your audiences be inspired by one of the almost 800 people who give their time generously to serving children who have been abused or neglected in hopes that others will see how they can change the lives of children.
Seasonal – April is National Child Abuse Prevention Month. May is National Foster Care Month. November is National Adoption Month. We can help provide a perspective on issues facing children who have been removed from unsafe homes and the work necessary to help them have safe and permanent homes with loving families. Holidays like Mother and Father’s Day or Grandparents Day, and events like “Back to School” provide even more options for stories through the eyes of special caregiver or a child.
Expert Quotes – Our staff are experts on topics surrounding the child welfare system including advocacy, child abuse, neglect, abandonment, youth aging out of the foster care system, the disproportionate representation of children of color in the system and needs of non-English speaking families. Let us help you educate your audience on these critical issues facing our community.
Donor Profile – Let our generous donors share who they are and why they support Dallas CASA with your audience.
