Much to our extreme disappointment, early this morning The Statler has canceled today’s Cherish the Children Luncheon. The hotel’s air conditioning is not working, and all hotel guests have been relocated to other hotels.
The Dallas CASA Children’s Council will host the 2023 Cherish the Children benefit luncheon on May 5 at The Statler. The event will honor Sally Hoglund and Kristy Hoglund Robinson with the 2023 Caroline Rose Hunt Cherish the Children Award, which recognizes an individual or organization for outstanding contributions to helping children who have been removed from their homes due to abuse or neglect.
